Meet The Filmmakers

Richard Jackman brings his diverse experiences in architecture, alternative communities and grassroots activism to his approach to the documentary as art form and social catalyst. In 2005 Richard received a fellowship to spend five months in Copenhagen to study the unique architectecture and building culture of Christiania, eventually leading to his master's thesis, "Building Anarchy: Christiania as an alternative building culture". His experiences and contacts in Copenhagen were invaluable in creating this documentary about Christiania.
